DARIN WILLARDSEN, MD, MBA, SFHM
Darin Willardsen is the Chief Executive Officer of Horizon Virtual, our telemedicine company for hospitals. He has recently served as the Chief Medical Officer of the Central Minnesota Health Network and the Virtual Health Medical Director at CentraCare Health in St. Cloud Minnesota. Prior to his current position, he was the Vice President – Chief Medical Information Officer for 10 years. During this time, he has worked with EMR implementation throughout Central Minnesota including 6 hospitals and 50(+) multispecialty clinics within the system along with 6 unaffiliated community connect hospitals and 20 community connect clinics. Recently, he has also functioned as the Chief Medical Officer, developing the Central Minnesota Clinically Integrated Health Network and Virtual Health programs. These programs and services hope to facilitate seamless transfer of patient and provider communication and collaboration to over 700 providers and over 500,000 patients in central Minnesota. He continues to also work as an Internal Medicine Hospitalist and Virtual Health Physician. He is one of the founders of Horizon Virtual and has been with CentraCare Health since 2000.
Dr. Willardsen has also functioned as a senior leader of the Hospitalist group which currently employs over 50 hospitalists and Advanced Practice Providers. Darin has recently completed his Master’s in Business Administration degree at the University St. Thomas in Minneapolis. In his personal life, Darin enjoys the outdoors, piloting the family/business airplane, and spending quality time with his wife and three children as they keep him otherwise very busy.
Chief Medical Officer
TODD SEVERNAK, DO, PHARM D, SFHM
Dr. Todd Severnak is the Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Horizon Virtual. His higher educational was founded at the University of Arizona where he obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy degree. He then went on to complete a pharmacy ambulatory care fellowship with the United States Public Health Service. After his fellowship, he worked on the Hopi Indian reservation in northern Arizona serving the Native American population. After 3 years working as a pharmacist, Dr. Severnak returned to medical school at Midwestern University, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. He then moved to Wisconsin and matriculated through Internal Medicine Residency at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse Wisconsin.
Dr. Severnak launched his medical career as a Hospitalist at the St. Cloud Hospital serving in a variety of roles and committees including the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, Code Blue Committee, Medical Executive Committee. He has also served as a leader in the organization as the Chairman of the Department of Medicine and Chief of Staff. Dr. Severnak was also a member of the Executive Leadership Committee in the Hospitalist Department helping guide the hospitalist group of more than 50 Hospitalists and Advanced Practice Providers. Todd has received his designation of Senior Fellow from the Society of Hospital Medicine. He enjoys taking care of complex medical and surgical patients in the Critical Care setting and has a special interest in treating patients in shock.

Alicia Floyd, MD
Dr. Floyd graduated from Icahn Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 2011 and completed her training in Internal Medicine at Hofstra-Northwell. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has been a practicing hospitalist since 2014.
Paul Perry, DO
Dr. Perry graduated from Kansas City University of Medicine in 2009 and completed training in Internal Medicine through the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in downriver Detroit. He is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine and enjoys ongoing service as a hospitalist.
Joseph Scuderi, MD, PhD
Dr. Scuderi graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine’s Medical Scientist Training Program with a MD and a Ph. D. degree in 1996. He completed his training in Internal Medicine at North Shore University Hospital Manhasset in New York in 1999. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and has been a practicing hospitalist since 2003. He enjoys international travel, and spending quality time with his wife, two children, and two Huskies.
Charles R.Wolfe, MD, FACP
Dr. Wolfe, a board-certified Internal Medicine physician and distinguished fellow of the American College of Physicians, graduated from Temple University School of Medicine. He completed a dual residency at Duke University specializing in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. His career has been based in Duluth, Minnesota, where he has been a leader in emergency and hospital-based internal medicine. Dr Wolfe is passionate about using telemedicine to enhance access and improve patient outcomes, all while maintaining a crucial human connection in the digital realm.
John Hsieh, MD, MS
Dr. Hsieh graduated from New York Medical College with an MD degree in 2007, and completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. Dr. Hsieh is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and has been a practicing hospitalist since 2010.
Eric Hyun, MD, PhD
Dr. Hyun graduated from Baylor College of Medicine’s Medical Scientist Training Program with MD and Ph. D degree in 2011. He completed training in Internal Medicine at Baylor College in 2015. He is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has been a hospitalist since 2015. He has an interest in optimizing inpatient care in rural settings. He currently is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at a Big Ten University.
Jeff Hunt, DO
Dr. Hunt, an American Board of Internal Medicine certified physician, graduated from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona in 2014. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of North Dakota in 2017. Since his training, he has worked as an urgent care physician and hospitalist. He is also certified by the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians. He currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor for the University of North Dakota teaching medical students and residents.
